This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the services we provide to sellers.
1. Who we are
SSP Ecommerce Services Private Limited (“SSP”, “we”, “us”) (CIN U72900MP2022PTC059653) operates the Seller Selling Point service brand and this website. Our registered office is in Adhartal, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh 482004, India. Contact: info@sspecommerce.com, +91 72248 13564.
2. Information we collect
From website visitors and enquiries: name, phone number, email, city, marketplace and service interest, and your message.
During a client engagement: seller account, catalogue, advertising, inventory and order information that you authorise us to access through marketplace user permissions.
Technical data: our hosting provider may record IP address, browser type, pages requested and security events for security and operation of the site.
3. How we use information
- Reply to enquiries and prepare written proposals.
- Deliver the services agreed in writing with our clients.
- Keep our systems, accounts and client data secure.
- Meet legal, tax and marketplace obligations.
4. Amazon and other marketplace information
Where we access information from Amazon or another marketplace on a seller’s behalf (“Marketplace Information”), we:
- use it only to provide the services the seller has authorised, and never for any other purpose;
- do not sell, rent or share it with third parties, except service providers bound by equivalent obligations and only as needed to deliver the service;
- do not use it to contact buyers for marketing, or to build profiles of buyers;
- limit access to staff who need it for the agreed work;
- handle Amazon Information in line with the Amazon Selling Partner API Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy wherever they apply.
5. Personally identifiable information (PII)
Buyer PII (such as names, addresses and phone numbers in order data) is accessed only when strictly needed, for example to resolve a shipping or return issue for the seller.
- PII is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- PII is retained for no longer than 30 days after order delivery, and only as long as needed for the purpose, unless a longer period is required by law. It is then securely deleted.
- PII is never stored on removable media, personal devices or public cloud storage that is not protected and approved.
- Access to PII is logged.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with: our authorised staff; service providers who help us operate (such as hosting and email), under confidentiality obligations; a marketplace when a seller-authorised workflow requires it; and authorities when required by law.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards described on our Security and Data Protection page, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access and incident response. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect information appropriately.
8. Retention and deletion
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Client engagement data is kept for the contract period and then deleted or returned, except records we must keep by law. Buyer PII follows the 30-day rule in section 5. Marketplace Information, including all live copies, is permanently deleted within 30 days of the earliest of: the marketplace or seller asking us to delete it, the seller revoking our access, our authorisation ending, or the service ending. Deletion uses secure sanitisation methods (NIST SP 800-88).
9. Cookies
This website uses only essential cookies needed for security and basic operation. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
10. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@sspecommerce.com. We respond within 30 days, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.
11. Security incidents
If a security incident affects personal or marketplace information, we act under our incident response plan. Where Amazon Information is involved, we notify Amazon at security@amazon.com within 24 hours of detection. We notify affected clients and authorities where required by law or contract.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, the law or marketplace policies change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
